The high costs of not building green

whether you’re in the market for a new home, and you’ve thought about building green, but the cost has deterred you, you may be happy to find out that the gap is narrowing. The cost of green materials and the growing knowledge of green building practices among contractors has helped the prices lower to within the average person’s budget.
Now, the larger concern here may be the long-term cost of not building green. certain, not all of
us can afford newly-built homes, that’s a given, but that is more aimed towards those society who are looking to build a new home “the old way”. Once you factor in the cost of energy loss with less efficient building, the cost of
potential health-care issues involved with living in a home full of toxic chemicals, and the environmental cost of the waste from these chemicals, you’ll soon see that saving 1-2% initially isn’t worth it in the end.
