Leona Lewis turns down big bucks in anti-fur protest
If you were offered a million dollars to hawk a product you didn’t believe in, would you do it? That was a decision Leona Lewis was forced to produce after Harrod’s offered her nearly $2 million dollars to promote their big summer sale. The reason behind the verdict not to do the event was that the company sells fur.
Leona has been a strict vegetarian since she was 12 and doesn’t wear any clothes, accessories or use
products made from animals, so the choice was an easy one.
And, I suppose that’s not the only million she has ever been offered. With a hit song under her belt and other endorsements she shouldn’t be too hard up for cash. Nonetheless, I am always happy to see a celebrity who decides not to sell out. Kudos to Leona for standing up for what she believes!
