Edward Norton Races Towards $1 Million For Maasai Conservation

The 2009 NYC Marathon may be by, but that isn’t stopping Edward Norton from continuing to fundraise as much as possible. The actor has clearly found Twitter to be an lucrative conduit for donations — and numerous contests through his history continue pulling in cash for the Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust.
When the marathon finished on November 3rd, Norton and his team of runners had successfully raised by $750,000. Not subject matter to leave the final total in the six digits, the new goal is an even
$1 million or more; something he hopes to achieve by next week. “So far -$ raised from folks giving $37 in last 5 hrs will pay the salary of a teacher for 1 month,” he wrote earlier today. “You guys are making a huge difference.”According to the official donations page, Norton and company have raised just north of $864,000.
