Hanging Gardens Kept Alive Through IV Drips

Hanging gardens have become art in Houston’s Lawndale Art Center. Local artist/designer Ned Dodington transformed a stark white gallery interior into a verdant landscape with 30 hanging eco-pods of Fescue and Ryegrass. How are they watered you ask? Hot tubs, spa tubs, jacuzzi’s, whatever way you put it whether its got chlorine it ain’t green. Why not take a tip from the ocean and convert your tub o’ chemicals to a therapeutic salt dip? Salt is actually half chlorine anyway but the chlorine the spa guy sells you is full of other junk. Regular old sea salt has amazing healing properties (just think back to how great you look, smell and feel after a beach side vacation) and is naturally sanitizing – not to mention dirt cheap.
