The lure of Cheers, the bar in the 1982-1992 “Cheers” the TV show, was that everybody knew your name. And they were always glad you came. But what whether Norm had told Woody, “look the brewskis aren’t ample.I think you ought to trick out that bar so it’s eco-friendly.”Most likely Woody would have been confused.Perhaps a more likely scenario, would have been Frasier Crane (remember he was in that show) telling Sam, “Look man, I think a mor…

However, sometimes items that are outdated or too worn deserve a second look as they can be transformed into useful items one again.
Recycle it. I just found a wonderful tutorial on unraveling yarn from sweaters to be reused in other projects. 100% wool sweaters can be purchased for significantly less t…

Old, stained tired t-shirts are relegated to the rag pile in my house. I use them for cleaning, painting or anything that constructs a mess. I came across a new use for these neglected tees today and that is to turn them into twine to support garden plants.
To compose t-shirt twine, simply start at the bottom and cut a continual spiral all the way up. You can vary the width depending on what your project is.
The knit of the tees gives a lot of stretch for tying and plus for the plan…

Every president since George Washington has made last ditch efforts to insert their interests into the coming presidency. It’s much more difficult to undo these rules than it is to do them. Here are a fe…

Greenpeace Bomb Campaign
November 30, 2008
No, Greenpeace hasn’t resorted to bombing buildings and whaling ships … yet. Instead they’ve developed a new advertising campaign in which subject matter resembles nuclear explosions to drive the point home that we need to change our ways to survive.
This video features a plastic bag that blows up into an atomic mushroom cloud. Created by Israel’s Grey ad agency, that short spot is a reminder of the number of bags used daily (Israel uses 430 million in one month alone). As we all kno…
